Der Schwerpunkt meiner wissenschaftlichen Tätigkeit liegt auf dem Gebiet
der zementfreien Hüft-Endoprothetik. Neben Grundlagenforschung im Labor
und am Elektronenmikroskop widme ich mich vor allem der klinischen Forschung und hier besonders der Frage der Haltbarkeit von künstlichen Hüftgelenken.
Meine Forschungsergebnisse habe ich in den angesehensten Fachzeitschriften weltweit veröffentlicht.
Meine aktuellen wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse präsentiere ich im Rahmen
einer nationalen und internationalen Vortragstätigkeit.
